On the Storage Devices page (Figure 8-38), three types of storage devices can
be added:
Virtual Disks These disks have to be created on the Virtual I/O Server
beforehand to be available in the dialogue.
Physical Volumes Physical Volumes have to be assigned to the Virtual I/O
server beforehand and are available for selection, as
shown in Figure 8-39 on page 173.
Fibre Channel To add new virtual Fibre Channel adapters to the Virtual
Server, click the Add button. An Add Fibre Channel
Adapter menu appears and lists the physical Fibre
Channel adapters on the Virtual I/O server(s) that re
available for mapping with the newly created Virtual Fibre
Channel adapter (Figure 8-40 on page 174).
